- — Description of the charm[src]
Bewitched Snowballs[2] (incantation unknown) was a charm that could bewitch snowballs so that they hone in on a designated target and continually plague them by throwing themselves at said target.[1][4]
Known uses[]
In December 1984 at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Nymphadora Tonks taught Jacob's sibling how to perform this spell on the Training Grounds.[3]
Fred and George Weasley used the spell December 1991 at Hogwarts to bewitch snowballs to bounce off the back of Quirinus Quirrell's turban, and were punished for it.[1] Though they did not know it at the time, their snowballs were actually hitting Lord Voldemort.[5]
The Weasley twins used the spell again in December 1995, to bewitch snowballs to rap on the windows of the Gryffindor Tower Common room and they hit their brother Ron Weasley.[4]
